About the library and information service

At the library

The library at EACH is a unique collection of over 2,500 resources specialising in all aspects of caring for children and their families with severe disabilities, complex health needs and life-threatening conditions.

Subject areas include: nursing care, family support, counselling, life-limiting disorders, music therapy, legal & ethical issues, spirituality, end of life care and bereavement and grief support.

These include academic journals and text books, reports, official publications and resources for parents, children and adolescents. These can all be viewed via the online library catalogue.

Services can be provided over the telephone, post or email and include postal loan of resources, literature searching, current awareness bulletin, and journal article requests.

The library is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and is based in the EACH Education Centre, about 3 miles from Cambridge city centre. However there are occasions when the library is unstaffed. If visiting, please ring or email prior to check access.
