Family Fund Trust

The Family Fund helps families with severely disabled or seriously ill children and young people aged 17 and under to have choicesmoney piggy bank.jpg (100px on longest edge) and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life. They give grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child, young person and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons, computers and holidays. The Fund is a registered charity, helping around 55,000 families on the lowest of incomes across the UK. Last year they provided grants to families totalling over £33 million pounds.

Disability Grants

Set up by the parent of a child with a disability, the web site lists the many UK charities or trusts who provide grants. Grants can be searched for by age, ie children and young people or by requirement, ie. equipment, housing, holidays.

Micheal Crawford Children's Charity

The charity objectives are to assist children and young people in the alleviation of poverty and the relief of sickness. Since it was established in 1994, it has helped a number of individuals with the provision of medical equipment and funded medical treatment. It has also made grants to other children's charities. The Boparan Charitable Trust
The Boparan Charitable Trust is a newly formed charity with the objective of helping as many children and young people under the age of 18, who are disadvantaged through poverty, disability and terminal illness. To apply for assistance the Trust requires the parent or legal guardian of the child to complete and sign an application form.

Buttercup Children's Trust

The Buttercup Children's Trsut raises funds to support children under the age of 18 and their families, within the UK, who suffer from a wide range of life-limiting illnesses Their aim is to help as many children as possible for such things as hospital travel, respite, medical equipment, holidays, travel expenses and if, where achievable, a child's last wishes.

The Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust

The Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust provides grants to help people in need who are ill, convalescent or disabled. These are used to provide medical and household aids to enable people to manage at home and live as independently as possible.

East Anglian Grant Making Organisation

Mark Benevolent Fund

Hana’s Gift
Hana’s Gift is a small foundation supporting bereaved families of babies lost through late miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal loss in Norfolk. Its aim is to provide financial assistance to parents with the cost of memorials for their baby, when otherwise they would be unable to afford one, and also provide memory boxes. It will be working with Gordon Barber Funeral Directors and St. Faiths Crematorium in the hope of reaching as many parents who need help as possible. A J's Legacy is a charity that aims to relieve the financial hardship and sickness, either individually or generally, of young people living in Stowmarket and surrounding villages by providing grants, items and services to individuals and/or other charities.
