East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. We provide care and support wherever the family wishes, in families' own homes, in hospital or at one of our hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham. We are a registered charity and this year need to raise around £4.8 million from public donations to deliver our services. This amount to more than £13,000 a day, every day of the year.
We always need volunteers to help at events. Volunteering at events is great fun and it doesn’t have to take up much time, so even those with busy lives will be able to help.
If you are interested in helping at an event, please contact Clare Bates (tel: 01223 815134). It is usually possible to talk through the details on the phone or by email and all you need to do is put it in your diary and turn up on the day!
Feel free to bring along a friend or partner – just let us know as we need to make sure we have the right number of volunteers on the day.
Group Volunteering:
Some of our events need 50 or more volunteers so we are always looking for groups (e.g. community and corporate groups) to help at a particular event. If you are part of a group and would like to find out more then contact Clare Bates.
All event volunteers must be 16 years or over.
