East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), which provides care and support to life-threatened children and their families, is hoping to boost support in Kings Lynn by setting up a new friends group.
Friends groups involve people getting together on a regular basis to raise the profile of EACH in their local community while raising funds through events, collections, and by circulating leaflets and posters.
This is a vital role as EACH relies upon voluntary donations for the majority of the required income of £5.8m each year.
Anyone can join a friends group, with skills such administration, money handling and organisation being advantageous, but not essential.
The initial meeting of the EACH King's Lynn Friends Group will take place at 7pm at the Elizabeth Duke’s Head Hotel, in Tuesday Market Place, on Thursday January 28.
