26 Nov 09: Hopes and Dreams
26th November 2009
Hopes and Dreams have become a reality for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) after a lavish Suffolk ball raised £3,500 for the charity.
The Hopes and Dreams Ball, which was hosted by Hungarian Hall, Pettistree, saw more than 130 guests enjoying a champagne reception, five-course dinner and live entertainment from Suffolk author Charlie Haylock, Lee the magician and the Sahara band, who ensuredpeople of all ages got on the dance floor to dance the night away.
Both EACH and Hungarian Hall Events would like to thank everyone who helped to organise and support the event and to all those who attended to help make it such a success.
To build on that success, a Hopes and Dreams Ball is being staged again next year in aid of EACH on Saturday 25th September.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) provides care and support for life-threatened children and their families in their own homes, as well as at the charity’s hospices based at Ipswich, Quidenham and Milton in Cambridge.
This year it is anticipated that it will cost about £5.8 million to run all three of our hospice services - approximately 72 per cent of this is required from voluntary donations.
