The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Seymour Howard Lodge in Heacham has raised £1,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
EACH provides care and support for life-threatened children and their families in their own homes, as well as at the charity’s hospices based at Quidenham in Norfolk, Milton in Cambridgeshire and Ipswich in Suffolk, which also serves North Essex.
The sum was raised in many different ways including a collection at the reunion of The Band of the 1st Battalion Royal Anglians and personal donations from Heacham Social Club members.
Jessica Hiscocks, EACH community fundraising co-ordinator for North Norfolk and Norwich, said: “"We are really grateful at EACH for the Heacham Buffaloes continued support.
“They work so hard in raising funds for EACH and always seem to have a great time in doing so!"
The cheque for £1000 was presented by Brother Ian Cook to Albert Ware, an EACH volunteer, at Quidenham hospice.
