01.June.11 EACH at the Suffolk Show
Visitors to this year’s Suffolk Show will be able to see how their community has helped to revolutionise children’s hospice care across Suffolk and North Essex.
EACH reached their £3m Treehouse Appeal target in March this year to build and equip a new children’s hospice in St Augustine’s Gardens in Ipswich.
EACH will be based at stand number 623 at the Suffolk Show, which takes place on 1st and 2nd June, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the fundraising team and have a look at photos of the new children’s hospice. Tripp Batt Country Store in Stanton has very generously donated stand space at the show for EACH free of charge.
Patsy Johnson, EACH fundraiser, said: "We are pleased as punch to be going to the Suffolk Show again this year. Following the interest and support shown at last year’s event, this is our chance to show our supporters the new Treehouse and thank them for their support.
"We can’t thank Tripp Batt Country Store enough for their support. By letting us use some of their stand; it will give us a fabulous opportunity to reach a large audience - many of whom will have supported us in the last year."
Bob Shelly and Jane Mower will be coming along on the Thursday to sign copies of the poetry book Bangles and Baubles.
Ian Shilling, manager of the Tripp Batt Country Store said: "When we heard EACH was not going to be at the show, we contacted them to offer space on our stand. They are such an important local charity that we felt we should help if we could, and we're pleased they accepted our offer.
"We're a traditional Suffolk business, and we gain a lot from being at the show, and I know a lot of people will want to catch up on the results of the Treehouse Appeal which we supported last year."
The stand number is 623, which is at the southern end of Thirteenth Avenue, and the nearest entrance to us is Foxhall Gate E, though Nacton gate G is also close by.
