Celebrating Christmas with lights displays is one way to brighten up your street, and if you’re planning on having a Christmas lights display at your house this festive season, why not raise funds for charity at the same time?
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) needs to raise £4 million in donations to deliver their services this year, which amounts to £11,000 a day, and any fundraising efforts, including donations from Christmas lights displays, are vital to their work in caring and supporting life-threatened children and their families.
EACH cares for children across East Anglia and North Essex, so communities across the whole region are being encouraged to help out.
EACH can provide ‘weatherproof’ posters and a letter of authority for displaying in your window or outside in the garden to inform people you are raising money for charity. EACH will also provide stocks of literature and a collecting box.
If you are interested in raising funds for your lights display, please contact Claire LeLievre (tel. 01953 715538) providing your name, phone number and email address as point of contact.
